The award winning Six Moon Designs Lunar Solo is an incredibly roomy, weather proof, and featured filled ultra light shelter that tips the scales at a mere 1.5 pounds and is equally at home whether you are hiking above tree line in the Sierras or are holed up in a summer down pour in the Whites.

The hexagonal shape and steeply pitched sides easily handle snow loads or wind from any direction.  The generous canopy protects a 27.5 sq ft sleeping area plus an additional 10 sq ft vestibule area.  The 45 inch peak height is comfortable for sitting up and taking care of camp chores.   The side entry door and vestibule make entry and exit easy while maximizing ventilation and views. 

The 15 inch high mesh walls and peak vent maximize ventilation and keeps you separated from the low canopy walls to keep you drier on the occasions when condensation could form.
