The Quicksilver Ultralight Tarp is 11’ by 8.5’ in size and constructed of 30D 1.1 oz sil-nylon. The UL Tarp is a bare-bones catenary cut tarp with high-visibility reflective guy lines, 4 titanium stakes and a stuff bag. Weighs 14.2 oz with guy lines.
The Quicksilver Storm Tarp is the upgraded version of the basic UL Tarp. 5.8 additional ounces gives you storm doors for truly foul weather and reinforced corner pockets to store the guy lines. The storm doors block the wind and offer a bit more privacy. Constructed of 30D 1.1 oz sil-nylon and weighs 20.0 oz with guy lines.
The Quicksilver Ultralight Hammock itself is made of 30D Breathable 1.1 oz. Ripstop Nylon. It’s a roomy 11’ long and 5’ wide with a weight capacity of 250 lbs. It’s stored in convenient bishop bag which makes setting up and striking camp a breeze. The suspension loops are 7/64″ AmSteel® Blue with a 1600 lb. breaking strength.
The Vista Bug Net attaches to the hammock simply by slipping the net end loops over the suspension loops of the hammock. It features an attached 1/4″ MULETAPE® tension indicator protecting the integrity of the bug net and makes the perfect hang a simple process every time. If you would like the option of going netless on a whim, upgrade to the standard version which includes a 24” zipper allowing you to slide the Vista Bug Net completely out of the way and stow it in the attached bishop bag for an unimpeded view when bug activity is low. For solid bug protection, slide the net back over the hammock and zip it up. Both versions include a shock cord around the bottom to cinch the net around you and keep the creepy critters from feasting on you as you rest. Ah yes, the shock cord! Such a simple thing that helps hold your under-quilt of choice against the hammock to prevent CBS… (Cold Butt Syndrome) You’ll use the Vista Net year round just for that reason! The base system comes with the ultralight (zipperless) version of the Vista Net …upgrade to the zipper net with a click.
The Hammock's Suspension consists two 104’ straps of 1/2″ MULETAPE®. Oh, how we love MULETAPE®. So, much so that we don’t even mind that you can’t get it in any color but white. We knew it had to be a part of this system no matter what. This 1250 lb. test material is made of lubricated low stretch polyester. The MULETAPE® joins to the QuickSilver Hammock loops with a quick, simple and secure Becket Hitch knot. This knot is a cinch to tie, allows fine adjustments to be made with ease and tears down with just a tug. We’ve tested this knot in wet, cold and hot conditions. It holds strong and does not slip. And no hardware means zero weight added and fewer opportunities for hardware failure leaving you on the ground in the middle of the night. One set of MULETAPE® straps included with the system.
Simple Polyester Tree Straps for tree protection. Available in either 4', 6' or 8' lengths. Low-stretch, Flat Weave 1″ black Polyester webbing exceeds 1200# breaking strength per manufacturer. Use together with our MULETAPE® suspension straps for a ultralight, hardware free suspension solution for your hammock system. The 4 foot straps come standard with the base system… upgrade to 6 or 8 foot straps with a click.
We remember the feeling well. You finally receive package you’ve been dreaming of only to find you need batteries… or that blasted elusive bolt. We don’t want any of you to feel that way about your hammock system. So yes, stakes are included! Titanium ones, with high visibility florescent heads. 0.2 oz super tough ultralight wonders, they are. So, go ahead and set your new system up. You have EVERYTHING you need.

By popular demand the 2015 Skyscape Trekker is now available with Dual Doors. This allows you to enter and exit from either side of the tent.
The Six Moon Designs Skyscape Trekker is a true ultralight solo shelter that is stable in wind and snow, roomy, easy to set up, has tons of ventilation, and only weighs 24.3 oz!
The Trekker utilizes 1.1 oz per sq yd sil-nylon fabric for both the floor and canopy to reduce weight while providing excellent durability.
The hybrid dual wall design means that 80% of the canopy is separated from you by a mesh wall, keeping the wet canopy away from you. The dual trekking pole structure is easy to setup and provides excellent stability in windy or snowy conditions. The dual vestibules can be pitched in a variety of ways to allow greater protection or better ventilation depending on the weather. The side entry doors open wide to allow easy access and the more than 100 inch floor length will accommodate just about everyone.
This great list of features and light weight make this tent a great choice for anyone trying to shave weight from their pack without sacrificing comfort.
The canopy and floor of the Trekker are constructed with silicone nylon. This fabric has been the work horse of fabrics used to build ultralight tents for the last decade. It’s main properties are its strength, light weight and that it’s impervious to mold or mildew.
The Trekker is a great when you want to be light but don’t want to break the bank.
